This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It is Thunderbird Blue (T) with a turquoise and white interior (C). It was scheduled for production on September 23, 1954 (23J). According to the July/August 1974 edition of Early Bird Magazine, this Thunderbird was owned by Leon Gardon of Garden Grove, California. As of March, 2003 its status was unknown. UPDATE September 2011 it is for sale on eBay Hermitage, Pennsylvania. The owner states that he purchased it in Pleasanton, California on October 27, 1997. (picture 9/2011) UPDATE September 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was for sale in Portland, Maine. Wire wheels have been added. The picture is from 2011. Update, Dennis Dole reports June 2013, it was for sale on ebay and was located in Saint Ann, MO. As of June 2015 it is for sale in New Milford, Connecticut. UPDATE March 2021 it was recently sold by Daniel Schmitt & Company in Saint Louis, Missouri. It is fully restored.
