Joseph LaRosa says: I recently purchased my 1955 Thunderbird from the original owner. It has 47,000 miles and is in all original, good running condition. I have a copy of the original bill of sale. With tax,title and 1/4 yr. plates it was $3,578.05 - puchased on April 20, 1955, from Cattrell Motor Co.in Weirton, West Virginia. It has soft top, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, oil filter-oil bath air cleaner,wsw tires, fender shields, (fender skirts)Fordomatic drive (transmission) 8 tube radio, Magic-Aire heater and defroster, windshield washer, turn indicators, tachometer, tinted glass, and engine dress-up kit - all stated in the bill of sale. RN 2304 entered the Registry on November 26, 2002: This is a 1955 Thunderbird. The color is Thunderbird Blue and it has a turquoise and white interior. It has Fordomatic, power steering, and power brakes. This Thunderbird was in Orrville, Ohio as of November, 2002.
