This 1955 Thunderbird is part of the not-yet-documented "first 1000" VIN list. Status 99 is reserved for 1955 Thunderbirds which have a last-six of 101000 or lower, and are not yet visually documented. UPDATE January 2015, Dedmon notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: Built Oct. 09, 1954. This is the 281st bird built. This is a beautiful solid # 2 car maintained in original condition and is Thunderbird Blue. It has both tops, Power Steering, Brakes, Windows and Seats. Never any rust. Always wanted a '55 and I believe these little birds are the best value for the dollar. A lot of car for the money; classic, convertible or hard top, V-8, hood scoop, fender skirts, engine dress up kit, racing flag emblems, loaded and a very desirable car. I purchased it from a former CEO of General Motors. GM top dog had to have a baby bird. I'm working on the car to better perfect it and plan to enjoy driving it on nice weekend days in sunny Florida.
