This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It is red and has been converted to a 12-volt electrical system. In the July/August 1974 edition of Early Bird Magazine it was documented as having been seen by Doug Tarvin in San Diego, California. It was offered for sale in January, 1998 at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Phoenix, Arizona. As of February, 2003 its status was unknown. UPDATE May 2023, it was reported as sold by Mecum Auctions on March 31, 2023. (photo added) UPDATE May 2023, Dan Adams reports it is for sale at West Coast Classics in Torrance, California.
