Ben Terkanian says: I bought my 1955 Thunderbird about 3 years ago. It has been an ongoing frame-off restoration since then. The car has just returned from the paint show and is in the process of going back together. The previous owner is Francis Carlin. I am not sure how long he had owned it; he lived in Holden, Massachusetts. The car was very complete but over the years it had been molested a few times at body shops and in back yards. I hope to be driving her in the spring of 2005. It has been a very fun project for my wife and I- the only things I have changed on the '55 are I went from a 6-volt to a 12-volt system and I changed the color from Raven Black to Snowshoe White. We are looking forward to our first ride in the spring.
