This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It has a hard top and a soft top, Fordomatic, power steering, power brakes, power windows, MagicAire Heater, radio, engine dress-up kit, and wire wheel covers. This Thunderbird was originally owned by Maude French of Hanover, New Hampshire. She was the author of the Asey Mayo, Cape Code detective stories. The July/August 1974 edition of Early Birds Magazine stated at that time that it was in original and unrestored condition. The July-August 1982 issue of Early Birds included a letter from Maude French stating that she owned the car at that time.
