This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It is Thunderbird Blue (T) with a turquoise and white interior (C). It was scheduled for production on October 22, 1954 (22K). According to the July/August 1974 edition of Early Bird Magazine, this Thunderbird was owned by Cecil St. Clair of Nekoma, North Dakota. The magazine states that this car was the first Thunderbird sold in the state of Iowa. It has a soft top only. It has 3-speed manual transmission, power brakes, power windows, MagicAire Heater, radio, tinted glass, windshield washers, engine dress-up kit, and wheel covers. As of March, 2003 its status was unknown. UPDATE July 2014, on Facebook it was reported to be in existence with Mr. St. Clair, who says he acquired it in 1972. The original owner was Roland Jons of 936 5th Street, Boone, Iowa. UPDATE December 2023, Cecil St. Clair notified the Registry that it has been in his family since 1971.
