This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It is Raven Black (A) with a black and white interior (A). It was scheduled for production on October 21, 1954 (21K). According to the July/August 1974 edition of Early Bird Magazine, this Thunderbird was owned by Paul Wilcox of Columbus, Ohio. At that time, it was described as being in "excellent original condition", and an "unrestored show winner". It has a soft top only and 3-speed manual transmission. It has MagicAire Heater, windshield washers, engine dress-up kit, fender shields, small wheel covers, back-up lights, and positive action windshield wipers. As of March, 2003 its status was unknown. UPDATE August 2012, Glen Hockenjos reports that a photo of this car's data plate appears in the T-Bird Restoration Details and Specification Manual available from the Classic Thunderbird Club International (CTCI). It can be viewed on page#57, photograph# 73 which explains about the screws for the hood lock mechanism.
