This 1955 Thunderbird is part of the not-yet-documented "first 1000" VIN list. The gathering of information about this Thunderbird is of top priority to the Registry. Status 99 is reserved for 1955 Thunderbirds which have a last-six of 101000 or lower, and are not yet visually documented. UDPATE July 22, 2012 - Dennis Dole reports it was documented by the owner in the May-June 1998 issue of Early Bird. Bo Kjolvmark of Uppsala, Sweden purchased the car in 1991 and says that there were 12 previous owners. This Thunderbird was built on October 23, 1954 and was imported to England in late 1954. This car had been customized over the years and had several different engines. Bo performed a complete restoration to return the car to original condition with the original engine.
