UPDATE November 2014, Dennis Potter and Dennis Dole reported almost simultaneously: This '55 Thunderbird has been customized and received an updated later model 302 engine & overdrive transmission.
The dash has been modified and has new custom gauges. The suspension has also been updated with a later model rear axle, power rack & pinion steering and 4 wheel power disc brakes. The car has a vinyl covered hardtop, no soft top. It is for sale in Las Vegas, Nevada. (picture added, codes added, status changed to Intact)
